Speakers:

         

Shannon Gaudet is a partner at Lerners LLP in Toronto, with more than 13 years of experience in health law and professional liability. Shannon regularly acts for members of several regulated health colleges, including physicians, psychologists, and psychotherapists, as well as other professionals including lawyers, directors, police officers and city officials. Her experience includes defending negligence claims, informed consent issues, human rights issues, and privacy breaches, and regulatory matters including discipline, fitness to practice and consent and capacity issues.

Olivia Hynes is a Claims Director with Berkley Canada. Olivia completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Queens University. Olivia manages complex liability insurance claims through resolution, across numerous lines, including Life Science and Healthcare, Executive Risk, and Casualty claims. Her experience includes handling insurance claims for a variety of healthcare professionals before their regulatory colleges. Olivia is fully bilingual.  

Ashley Clifford is an Associate Director at BMS Canada, a specialist broker that provides insurance coverage and risk management services to over 700,000 healthcare and regulated professionals across Canada and globally.
