Monitoring Readiness After ACL Injury

This webinar will review current evidence and practices for assessing neuromuscular function after ACL injury in elite athlete populations. It will take a long-term lens with respect to monitoring neuromuscular readiness throughout the return to sport, return to competition and return to performance transitions. In addition to examining models of neuromuscular recovery, it will review force-time analysis for vertical jumping and explosive strength testing, and how practitioners can integrate a data-informed process into the daily rehab environment.

Speaker: Dr. Matt Jordan
Matt is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary and a Sport Science Advisor at the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary. He specializes in player performance and sport science and has consulted for elite athletes over six Olympic Winter Games. Matt holds a Master of Science in Exercise and Neuromuscular Physiology, and a PhD in Medical Science.
