Join Allison Forsyth for a real conversation on Safe Sport and the steps that need to be taken to prevent and manage abuse in sport. She will share her own experience of sexual abuse in the Canadian sport system and provide perspectives as an athlete, advocate, and change maker.
Allison will also address different forms of maltreatment, how to minimize environmental and cultural risks, and the gaps every organization must be aware of that are not covered by policies or current training.

Allison is the COO Partner of ITP Sports and Recreation, a World Championship bronze medalist skier, and a leading voice in the Safe Sport landscape. She is a board member of AthletesCAN and an advisory Committee Member of the SDRCC. She also supported the CCES in the development of the Universal Code of Conduct, and acted as an athlete advocate in the development of the CAC Safe Sport training and education.
